Neuroscientists are often unable to identify subtle changes in brain function because of the tools that are available to them. Kinarm Labs allows them to study, with precision, the sensory, motor and cognitive impact of a wide range of injuries and diseases, such as: stroke, cardiac arrest, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
The Kinarm wordmark is inspired by neurons connecting to each other, and a user holding the kinarm handle and reaching their arm to perform tasks. The uppercase “A” taken from the original logo creates a precision point. The reaching arm of the “K” could be interpreted as a magnifying glass searching for answers. It has a clean, angular, and mechanical feel.
